A certificate image proves nothing: it is a picture, and pictures are editable. That is why every GN Academy credential is a record you can look up rather than a file someone sends you.
The ten-second check
- Ask for the credential code. It looks like
CAVA-2026-000001and belongs on a CV the same way a licence number does. - Go to gnacademy verification and enter it.
- Read what comes back.

Reading the result
The verification page shows four things that matter:
- The holder's name. It should match the person in front of you.
- What they earned, and at what level.
- When it was issued. Codes are permanent and never reused.
- The status. Active, revoked, or expired.
A revoked credential still resolves. It does not disappear. The page says revoked, along with the reason. That is deliberate: a credential that silently vanishes is easy for its holder to explain away, and a withdrawal that stays visible is the only version that protects you.
What the competencies mean
Passing is not a single number. Each credential carries a per-competency breakdown: prompting and output quality, tool fluency, workflow integration, and judgment and verification.
That breakdown is useful when you are choosing between candidates who both passed. Someone strong on workflow is a good fit for recurring operations work. Someone strong on judgment is who you want anywhere output reaches a client unreviewed.
If a code does not resolve
Nothing found means no credential with that code exists. Check for typos first: the format is prefix, year, then six digits. If it still comes back empty, treat the claim as unverified. We would rather you check than assume.
